Trivault4k184R Firmware Upgrade
If your Trivault4k184R is running a software version older than 2023, it is due for an upgrade to V8.2.3.2-20230129
IMPORTANT:
- This upgrade must be performed either directly on the recorder using an HDMI monitor and mouse, or through VMS Pro on your local network using Remote Setting within the local network.
- Do not perform the upgrade over the internet or through any remote access method outside your local network.
- A power failure or dropped connection during the upgrade can damage the device.
- You will need a USB 3.0 drive formatted as FAT32 and physical access to the recorder.
Steps to upgrade:
- Log into your Camius.com account and download the firmware file for your device.
- Extract the downloaded file directly onto the USB drive. Do not place it inside a folder.
- Insert the USB drive into the recorder's front USB port.
- On the recorder, go to Setup, then System, then Maintenance, then Upgrade.
- Click Scan to locate the firmware file on the USB drive.
- Select the file and click Start.
