To enable automatic tracking on the Camius SCOUT4K4XPTZ 4K PTZ camera, follow the steps below using either the camera’s web interface or your Camius PoE NVR.

1. Using the Camera’s Web Browser Interface:

• Step 1: Open a web browser and log into the camera using its IP address.
• Step 2: Navigate to:  Settings >> Event >> Motion >> Disable Motion Detection.
• Step 3: Navigate to Settings >> AI >> Pedestrian & Vehicle >> Enable both Pedestrian Detection and Vehicle Detection. This enables the AI engine to analyze the scene for qualifying motion and initiate auto-tracking.

2. Using the Camius NVR Interface:

• Step 1: On your NVR, go to Channel >> Motion >> Select the PTZ camera’s channel and disable Motion Detection.
