IPVault1128P Firmware

For IPVault1128P NVRs with firmware version 2019 and higher.

Before downloading the firmware, please verify your device model number. If you are unsure which firmware is correct for your device, contact us using the support ticket form. Be sure to include your device model number and current firmware version. You can find the firmware version under System Information using the Camius View app, the Device Config Tool, or by using the menu via the local user interface through HDMI output.

This firmware is intended for Camius IPVAULT1128P only.
Note: Log in to your Camius account before downloading any files. Be sure to carefully review the firmware upgrade requirements available here

Please carefully review the conditions for upgrading the firmware on your NVR:

Option 1: Upgrade Your NVR Recorder Using the Device Config Tool

• Download the latest firmware for your device.
• Download and install the Device Config Tool for PC or Mac—click here to download the Tool
• Open the tool, click on the 'Upgrade' tab at the top, and select your device.
• Click ‘Open’ at the bottom and choose the firmware file.
• Enter the username and password of your NVR, then click ‘Upgrade’.
• Note: This can only be performed locally, within the same network as the NVR.

Option 2: Upgrade Your Camius NVR Using a USB Thumb Drive

• Download the latest firmware for your device.
• Extract the firmware file onto your USB drive.
• Insert the USB drive into the NVR's USB port.
• Navigate to Setup > System > Maintenance > Upgrade, and click ‘Scan‘ to locate and select the firmware file.
• Click ‘Start‘ to begin the upgrade process.

IMPORTANT:

• Do not upgrade your device firmware from a remote location.
• Ensure the device remains powered throughout the upgrade process, as any power failure during this time could cause permanent damage.
