Before downloading the firmware, please verify your device model number.

Note: Log into your Camius account before downloading any files. Be sure to carefully review the firmware upgrade requirements, available [here].
Please carefully review the conditions for upgrading the firmware on your DVR:
- Option 1: Upgrade Your DVR Recorder Using the Device Config Tool
- Download the latest firmware for your device.
- Download and install the Device Config Tool for PC or Mac—click here to download the Tool
- Open the tool, click on the 'Upgrade' tab at the top, and select your device.
- Click ‘Open’ at the bottom and choose the firmware file.
- Enter the username and password of your DVR, then click ‘Upgrade’.
Note: This can only be performed locally, within the same network as the DVR.
- Option 2: Upgrade Your Camius DVR Using a USB Thumb Drive
- Download the latest firmware for your device.
- Extract the firmware file onto your USB drive.
- Insert the USB drive into the DVR's USB port.
- Navigate to Setup > System > Maintenance > Upgrade, and click ‘Scan‘ to locate and select the firmware file.
- Click ‘Start‘ to begin the upgrade process.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not upgrade your device firmware from a remote location.
- Ensure the device remains powered throughout the upgrade process, as any power failure during this time could cause permanent damage.
