Warranty

Warranty terms will apply to your purchase, where we commit to repair or replace the product using globally implemented RMA procedures beyond 30 days from the date of delivery.

You are responsible for shipping the product to Camius, and Camius will bear the cost of shipping the replacement or repaired unit back to you.
 Furthermore, Camius offers a warranty to the Purchaser that the branded products (the “Product”), if properly installed and used in strict accordance with the use and care guidelines provided in the instructions manual, shall be free from manufacturing defects in material and quality. This warranty applies to the Devices contained in the original factory packaging for components that failed due to manufacturing defects only.

The warranty applies to failed components due to manufacturing defects within one year from the shipping date. If the item is not repairable, you will receive a replacement with the same device model or a similar one [if the Device has been discontinued] covered by the same warranty policy issued at the initial purchase (no extended warranty applies in this case).

The warranty provides repair or replacement of defective components within the warranty period but does not offer a refund, exchange, or upgrade. The warranty does not cover user errors, accidents, or acts of God. If the item is mishandled, placed in an unsuitable environment, has burnt circuitry, dropped, stepped on, etc., the manufacturer’s warranty will NOT cover the damage. Product misuse will void the warranty.

Camius warranty covers the products for one year from the documented date of delivery. Consumables and accessories contained in the devices (hard disk, cables, SD cards, batteries, USB chargers, HDMI cables, USB mouse, network, coaxial video power, Cat network cables, power supplies, and power splitters) are warranted for one year from the documented date of order delivery as well.

This warranty is invalidated if non-Camius accessories (including 3rd party power supplies) are used in connection with the Camius Devices or if any modification or repair is made to the Device by any person or service center not authorized by CAMIUS or its affiliates (whoever is providing the technical support).

In addition, this warranty does not apply to defects or damages to the Camius Device caused by improper use of the Device, including but not limited to misuse, abuse, alteration, repair or improper installation, maintenance of the Device, electrical short circuits or transients, heat, humidity, moisture, or temperatures beyond product specifications, use of replacement parts not supplied by CAMIUS, accidents, fire, or other acts of God.

This warranty does not cover data loss or costs related to data recovery. It is recommended that Camius device users backup recorded footage regularly. Additionally, CAMIUS doesn’t offer a warranty for the software provided with the Device and doesn’t guarantee that any software provided with the Device will function non-stop and be free of errors, bugs, incompatibilities, or similar.

By purchasing devices from Camius.com or its affiliates, the Purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Camius.com and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of products, services, its website, or any breach by the Purchaser of these Terms and Conditions.

CAMIUS and its affiliates are not responsible for the 3rd parties devices (smartphones, tablets, PCs, monitors, apps, software, and OS used for remote viewing) or Internet providers’ limitations in case of product misuse by a Customer or not following Camius.com technical support recommendations.
 
By purchasing or/and using the Camius devices and products, purchases and users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CAMIUS and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of products, services, or its website.

Before submitting a warranty claim, you must first contact Camius support or visit Camius support page for troubleshooting assistance. Our team will work with you to diagnose and resolve the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved and is confirmed to be a manufacturing or hardware defect covered under the Camius Warranty Policy, our support team will direct you to complete the form below.

Warranty Claim Request

Enter the order number from your purchase confirmation email or receipt and the date your order was placed, as shown on your purchase confirmation email or receipt. Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase. If you are unsure of the exact date, log into your retailer account to look up your order history.
Select the Camius product you are submitting this warranty claim for. If you purchased a kit (camera + NVR/DVR bundle), select the primary unit with the issue. For accessories such as PoE switches or HDDs, select the corresponding option.
Select or enter where you purchased your Camius product. Supported retailers include: camius.com, amazon.com, newegg.com, neweggbusiness.com, and walmart.com. If you purchased from a different retailer, please enter the store name.
Enter your product serial number (S/N) as it appears on the product label.
Please describe the issue you are experiencing with your Camius product in as much detail as possible. Include the following: what the problem is, when it started, and how often it occurs. Also describe the troubleshooting steps you have already taken before submitting this warranty claim, such as restarting the device, checking cable connections, updating firmware, or contacting Camius support. Include the firmware or software version of your product.
