Two IP camera system includes a 4K 8 Channel PoE NVR with a 3TB surveillance hard drive. Camius home camera system starts recording 24/7 out of the box. Network Video Recorder auto assigns a unique IP address to the IP camera. The wired camera system has Cat5e wires to power cameras delivering HD video and audio. You can expand the system to 8 PoE cameras and 10TB storage.
Plug-N-Play PoE Camera System
The 8 Channel NVR has a built-in PoE switch, making the setup process easy and quick. The network video recorder assigns a unique IP address to the Camius IP camera. No more complicated IP camera configuration. With and without deterrent capabilities, you can add up to 8 Camius PoE cameras, including 2K and 4K cameras.
Once the camera is added to the NVR, you will see PoE power consumption by selecting the ‘ PoE Power‘ tab.
PoE Camera installation (Power-Over-Ethernet)
PoE IP camera requires a single network wire to run power and video. Such simple wiring makes the whole installation hassle-free and straightforward.
Latest video and audio compression with the highest bandwidth in the industry
Video compression is essential when choosing a security system because it affects video quality, how much storage space is needed, and how much internet is used. Camius security systems use video compression not only H.264 but H.265 and H.265+, which is good and saves up to half of the storage space. It also makes the system use less internet. This is good if you have an 8 channel 4K security system with an internal hard drive. You also have centralized control of the audio settings on Camius cameras using the NVR.
Outdoor Security Cameras Installation
Outdoor wired cameras come in a robust metal casing with an IP66 rating, making them sturdy and dependable. Bullet cameras are easy to set up and are usually placed on walls because their shape allows for larger lenses. They also have a pointed tip that protects them from the weather (like water and dust) and prevents glare, making them suitable for outdoor use. If you use a bullet camera indoors (like in a hallway), it’s best to mount it on the ceiling. The bullet camera’s handle (or bracket) can move around, allowing you to adjust the angle easily.
Wide Angle Security Cameras
The wired cameras’ fixed 3.6mm lens delivers 80 degrees of coverage, allowing the camera to capture fine details. Bullet-wired cameras with more extended range are more suitable for viewing open areas like backyards, parking lots, and large warehouses but narrow spaces such as door entrances, stairways, etc.
5 Megapixels 5MP Security Cameras
The IP security wired cameras record 5 Megapixels of video, 2.5 times the pixels as an HD 1080p security camera. Instead of 1920 × 1080, over 2,000,000 pixels, this 2K camera can record at a pixel ratio of 2592 x 1944 (over 5 million pixels). More pixels delivered by the security camera allow you to get more enhanced picture details when you zoom in.
Security Cameras for Homes and Businesses with Audio
Camius Security Cameras with Audio Monitoring and Recording can give you extra protection. Camius IP security cameras have a built-in microphone that can record clear audio, which can help detect sound and trigger recording even if the subject is not in the camera’s view. You can control the audio settings on the NVR recorder and sync it perfectly with the video footage. It’s easy to enable or disable audio and other settings on Camius cameras.
View your cameras live on a HD TV or Monitor
The Camius NVR has two video outputs that you can use to connect a monitor or TV and watch live footage. One is an HDMI output that shows 4K video with a resolution of 3840×2160, and the other is a VGA output that shows 1080P video with a resolution of 1920×1080.
The NVR automatically adjusts the video output to match the resolution of your monitor when you start the system. However, some older monitors may not communicate their acceptable resolution properly. If this happens, you can try connecting the NVR to a newer monitor and changing the resolution manually to the lowest setting. Then, save the changes and plug the older monitor back in to see if it’s supported. You can find more detailed instructions on adjusting the monitor’s resolution in a guide.
Recording & Alerts
You can customize how your PoE wired cameras record footage. You can set a schedule for when it records and have it record continuously by default. Additionally, you can set it up to trigger recording when it detects motion.
You can also set up alerts on your NVR system, such as sending pictures or videos to your FTP server or cloud and receiving an email notification. You’ll even get push notifications to your smartphone to keep you updated on any activity on your property.
You can have all recording modes enabled simultaneously.
If you want to use PIR recording, you’ll need to add 4K spotlight cameras
Smart & Customized Notifications
The Camius security system will immediately tell you if anything happens on your property by sending notifications to your smartphone. You can watch live or recorded videos in HD resolution with the NVR’s 128Mbps bitrate. You can also change the settings for alerts on your phone using the Camius View app. You can choose what triggers the alarms, like motion, Intelligent, or AI detection. You can even set it to alert you if there’s a problem with the hard drive or if the camera stops working. This means you’ll always be aware of what’s going on, even if you’re not at home or your business.
Camius security systems offer a useful feature of sending email notifications, which can be configured to alert users in real time of any detected events or incidents. This feature is handy for remote monitoring. It can be set up to send email notifications for various types of events, such as motion, intelligence, and AI detection. With this feature, Camius security systems provide an efficient and convenient way for users to stay informed and maintain awareness of potential security threats on their premises. Follow this how-to guide to configure your email notification settings.
PoE security cameras have smart video motion detection, which can detect motion, pedestrians, vehicles, or both, improving detection accuracy. You can also choose specific areas for detection and set schedules for when detection should occur. When motion is detected, the PoE NVR system will start recording and take other actions you specify in your Camius NVR. You can choose only to record motion events to save space on your hard drive or record everything while still being able to access footage of motion-triggered events quickly.
HD NVR Kit with Intelligent Detection
The Camius 2K PoE cameras have a feature that detects sudden noises near the camera. This Sound Detection feature can alert the user and initiate recording in Intelligent mode.
To use this feature, you can enable Sound Detection and set up a schedule for these events. Additionally, you can utilize Intelligent Analysis to generate reports based on the recorded data.
Businesses widely use Camius NVR systems for intelligent features, including stationary object detection. With advanced algorithms and image processing capabilities, Camius NVR systems can identify and track stationary objects in their field of view. This feature can help improve security and surveillance by detecting potential threats or suspicious activity in sensitive areas such as airports, government buildings, and banks. Camius NVR systems’ stationary object detection is an intelligent mode, making it easy to set up and use. This feature is just one example of how Camius NVR systems can help businesses monitor their premises with advanced, intelligent surveillance technology.
The newest 2K cameras from Camius come with AI analysis for advanced detection capabilities. This feature goes beyond traditional video motion detection by allowing users to create detection zones for movement patterns and location tracking. With AI Detection, you can activate specific detections to receive precise reports and analytics.
In addition to triggering video recording in a unique color and tag, AI Detection can initiate an email or push notifications. The available AI Detection options include Human and Vehicle Detection (PD&VD), Perimeter Intrusion Detection (PID), Line Crossing Detection (LCD), and Cross Counting (CC).
Free NVR software
Camius security systems go beyond the HDMI monitor and smartphone app. The free NVR software can turn any desktop, laptop, PC, or Mac into a 24/7 surveillance station. Users can monitor live video and audio streams in addition to playback and manage cameras with access to device settings. This software is excellent for multiple installations as it can combine cameras connected to a Camius DVR or NVR and individual Camius cameras on one screen. In addition, the software can display up to 128 cameras on the same screen and manage multiple devices from different locations.
