This allows the camera to move freely so you can set it to the preferred angle. After positioning, tighten the hex screws to lock the camera in place.

Frequently Asked Questions about Wireless NVR Setup
How do I enable notifications on my smartphone?
On the Camius View app, tap on Menu>>Push Notifications>>Setup>>Toggle the switch on.

How can I improve the wireless signal?
Try placing the camera with fewer obstacles to the receiver, pointing antennas away from walls.
How can I improve the clarity or brightness?
If the video is too bright or dark, consider pointing the camera away from light sources; placing the camera behind a window at night will cause a bright spot.
How can I improve the battery life?
If the camera overlooks a high-traffic area, like sidewalks or roads, try repositioning the view to only include areas of interest. Consider switching from frequent live viewing to push notifications. Set a more precise active Motion area under Setup >> Alarm >> Motion >> Setup, click on the red square and then drag the angles to narrow the active detection area; this also helps reduce false alarms.
Tip: Motion detection preserves battery power; if the camera is in a high-traffic area, consider keeping it continuously plugged into the USB charger.
This will unlock continuous recording mode on the recorder’s HDMI interface under Setup>> Channel >> Wireless camera >> Post Recording, make sure the camera is plugged in and active while turning Continuous mode on; otherwise it will not appear on the post-recording menu.

Why is my camera switching from black & white to color too often?
If your camera is switching to color and black & white too often, this could be due to either a fluctuating light source or that the camera’s view contains a surface, like a wall or ceiling, too close to the lens, leading to reflections into the lens, which could trigger night mode. Consider adjusting the camera viewing angle or relocating it.
I can't see the edges of the NVR's HDMI monitor. How do I fix it?
On the NVR, click on the Menu Icon >> Setup>> System >> General >> Output Configuration >> Scale and Offset. Next, click Setup and Scale to adjust the visible screen size, X for horizontal, and Y for vertical; once you see the red frame, right-click to go back and click Apply to save changes.
For the detailed guide view these steps on how to adjust your NVR’s monitor resolution
Why can’t I access my cameras on the Camius View app?
Check if you are using the latest version of the Camius View app. On the App’s ‘Devices‘ page, make sure your recorder uses the P2P (ID) instead of (IP address; if in doubt, delete it and add it again. Check if your recorder is connected to the internet by checking its connection to the router.
How many battery operated cameras can I add?
You can add as many NVRs and their cameras as needed in multiple locations and monitor all of them remotely using the Camius View App for iOS and Android or the VMS desktop software for Windows and Mac. Each wireless NVR adds up to 8 cameras.
Why isn’t my camera showing up after I insert the battery?
