Select the recording type you need (Green is for Normal, Yellow is for Motion, and Purple is for PIR), set the Record Schedule, and apply and copy to other channels if required. Motion and PIR recording require enabling it for each camera.

Smart Motion Detection
Smart video motion detection is supported by IP cameras in the NVR kit when they detect motion along with pedestrians, vehicles, or vehicles and pedestrians. Smart motion detection triggers PoE NVR system recording and other actions on your Camius NVR. PIR Detection
You can enable PIR recording and alarms, including push notifications for 4K Spotlight Cameras PIR recording.
Spotlight 4K Outdoor Cameras’ built-in Passive Infrared or PIR sensor allows a better way to detect thermal motion from people and cars. PIR sensor is hardwired into the camera, which allows for deeper integration with other camera functions like the security floodlight and Siren. Users can select hours and days of the week for the PIR sensor to work; users can also choose areas where motion should trigger an alarm. In addition, users can enable push notifications for PIR starting on their smartphones. Make sure to set up the Recording scheduled to start recording and for push notifications.
Note: The whole screen is the default for the 4K outdoor camera’s PIR detection (red blocks). If you want to disable the PIR detection on a particular area, click the grid cursor and drag the mouse to highlight the scope to unmark the area into transparent blocks. After the setting is completed, click the right button of your mouse to return and click Save to make the area setup effective.
Sound Detection
Camius 4K spotlight and 2K bullet camera support Sound Detection is triggered when a sudden loud noise occurs near the camera; it alerts the user and records in Intelligent mode.
AI detection
Camius security system offers Intelligent Detection using AI analysis. It goes beyond video motion detection, allowing the user to create zones for detecting movement patterns, location, etc. Furthermore, intelligent Detection will trigger Push notifications in addition to video recording in a unique color and tag. Intelligent Detection includes Sound, and also you can activate AI detection that includes Human & Vehicle Detection (PD & VD), Line Crossing (LCD), Cross Counting (CC), and more. In addition, you can analyze footage using the Heat Map (HM). After enabling one of the AI detections, you then allow push notifications on your mobile app.

Push Notifications
Once you enable the proper recording schedule, you will start receiving not only push notifications on your smartphone app (Camius View) but will have access to the event recordings.
You can select Push notifications triggered by different events, including the hard drive error or if the hard drive is out of space if any of the cameras or complete systems are disconnected, Motion, PIR, Human & Vehicle Detection.
Lights and Siren as a significant deterrent
Camius SPOT828A-R Spotlight Security Cameras provide an essential security feature: deterrence. Motion Activated Spotlight Cameras illuminate visible and bright light into the scene, which deters crime. Users can also turn the floodlight (as a warning or strobe light) on and off using the NVR or the Camius View app. You can also Schedule deterrence features to only be active during certain hours and days of the week. In addition, the spotlight feature allows for clear color video in complete darkness; this helps identify subjects.
The built-in speaker is used to play a loud siren sound based on conditions set by the user. Volume can be adjusted under settings so the Siren is loud enough to do its job without bothering the neighbors. In addition, a schedule option is available, which allows the user to define the hours and days during which you want to activate the Siren.
Alarms
You can enable alarm settings using the NVR. Alarms include sending email alerts, intelligent push notifications to the CAMIUS VIEW smartphone camera app, recording, pre-recording, and uploading images to Cloud through the NVR (Dropbox or Google Drive).
